New to Church?
Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.
Key information about the church...
Where & when does the church meet?
Our church meets every Sunday at 10:30am for our Sunday service. Aim to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you can park.
We meet at:
Wheatley Lane Road
You can see a map on our contact us page.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our stewards who will be able to answer any questions you may have.
We are currently still building our services after lockdown. They usually begin with a time of worship and prayer, followed by a reading and a sermon, usually from the minister. The service usually concludes with a hymn. There is an opportunity after the service to make an offering for the work of the church, 10% of which is given to a missionary or ministry organisation (if you're a guest, we don't expect you to contribute if you don't want to). We are always ready to cater for any children who may attend.
If you would like someone to pray with you after the service, please talk to the minister.
Refreshments are usually served in the coffee lounge after the service.
What do the children do at church?
People are still coming back to church after lockdown, and we are working on building up our Sunday school and youth church again. Children and young people are very welcome at our worship, and we are always prepared to cater for them.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?
Please feel free to contact us.
